Warrior Industrial is a growing industrial distributor serving manufacturers and industrial customers throughout Texas. We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative with a strong background in industrial distribution. Experience with companies such as Fastenal, Grainger, MSC Industrial Supply, Airgas, Motion Industries, Applied Industrial Technologies, McMaster-Carr, White Cap, or similar industrial suppliers is highly preferred.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who understands industrial products, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong sense of urgency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate customer quotations.
- Process customer orders and follow orders from entry through delivery.
- Assist and support outside sales representatives.
- Source products from manufacturers and vendors.
- Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Respond to customer requests by phone and email in a timely manner.
- Resolve order issues and communicate proactively with customers.
- Manage multiple priorities throughout the day while maintaining accuracy.
- Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, customer service, and outside sales.
- Maintain organized records and complete tasks on schedule.
- Deliver outstanding customer service while helping customers solve problems.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of industrial inside sales experience preferred.
- Experience working for an industrial distributor or MRO supplier.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Reliable, dependable, and consistently punctual.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn ERP systems (Experience in Epicor Prophet 21 is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
