Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, to promote dignity and comfort
- Following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain safety and confidentiality
- Assist with mobility and transfers according to the client's care plan and your training
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when authorized
- Provide medication reminders as permitted by the care plan and agency policy
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Follow the client's Service Plan and agency instructions
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition or needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with EVV requirements
- Maintain client confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Provide care with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect
Skills
- HHA certification or required caregiver credentials
- Previous home care or caregiving experience preferred
- Reliable and dependable
- Compassionate and patient
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow a Service Plan and agency policies
- Ability to work independently in a client's home
- Must pass required background checks and meet applicable employment requirements
- Reliable transportation is preferred/required when applicable to the assignment
