Project Manager - URD
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, driven, and detail-oriented Project Manager to support Underground Residential Distribution (URD) operations throughout the Indianapolis market, including Noblesville, Carmel, Fishers, and surrounding areas.
This role is critical to the successful execution of projects by ensuring accurate reporting, effective crew coordination, timely customer communication, and seamless collaboration between field personnel, project managers, and billing teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple priorities, and is committed to delivering excellent results for both customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain resource schedules to support efficient crew coordination and project execution
- Participate in weekly customer adherence calls and provide project status updates
- Track, analyze, and report weekly project financial performance
- Manage and maintain project data within Smartsheet and other company systems
- Process payroll corrections and ensure accuracy of labor records
- Log, track, and maintain customer packets and project documentation
- Coordinate with the billing department to ensure timely invoicing and posting of completed work
- Monitor project milestones, schedules, and deliverables
Additional Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between project managers, field personnel, customers, and billing teams
- Assist with project setup, tracking, documentation, and closeout activities
- Ensure reporting deadlines, customer commitments, and KPI requirements are met
- Maintain accurate data entry and reporting across multiple platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve project workflows and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project tracking systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, utility contracting, telecommunications, or project coordination
- Knowledge of project financial tracking and reporting
- Experience working with Smartsheet or similar project management software
- Understanding of payroll processing and billing coordination
