Duties
- Design and develop comprehensive cloud architecture solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, and GCP to meet diverse business needs.
- Implement cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible to automate deployment processes efficiently.
- Manage and optimize cloud services including virtual private clouds (VPCs), Virtual Machines (VMs), containers with Kubernetes or Docker, and serverless functions.
- Ensure robust cloud security by implementing identity and access management (IAM) solutions, encryption protocols, and compliance standards such as FedRAMP.
- Lead cloud migration projects by planning and executing the transition of existing systems to public cloud platforms while minimizing downtime.
- Develop scalable systems that support microservices architectures, distributed systems, and SaaS applications with high availability and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design web services using RESTful APIs, implement DevOps automation pipelines with Jenkins or similar tools, and establish CI/CD workflows for continuous delivery.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and cost management opportunities to ensure optimal operation of cloud infrastructure.
Experience
- Proven experience designing solution architecture for cloud computing environments across AWS, Azure, or GCP with a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure implementation.
- Hands-on expertise in deploying and managing virtualized systems using VMware or OpenStack within a hybrid or multi-cloud setup.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security principles including IAM solutions, VPNs, Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), and compliance standards like FedRAMP.
- Strong background in automating deployment processes using Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet for scalable system provisioning.
- Familiarity with containerization systems such as Docker and Kubernetes for deploying microservices-based applications at scale.
- Experience working with operating systems including Linux and Windows in a cloud environment; scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell or Python are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle or NoSQL solutions like DynamoDB or MongoDB within the context of cloud architecture.
- Understanding of application development methodologies including Agile SDLC practices; experience integrating APIs and web services into enterprise solutions is preferred.

Pay: $58.26 - $70.16 per hour
