We are seeking an experienced Masonry Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry, concrete, or general construction estimating. You’ll be responsible for reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, preparing detailed cost estimates, and assisting with bids for commercial and residential masonry projects.
Responsibilities:
- Review project blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for masonry materials and labor
- Prepare and present detailed cost estimates and proposals
- Analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes
- Communicate with project managers, clients, and suppliers
- Track bid opportunities and assist with pre-construction planning
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in construction estimating (masonry preferred)
- Proficient with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Planswift, Excel)
- Strong knowledge of masonry materials, methods, and labor costs
- Excellent math, analytical, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred but not required)
