Equipment Operator (New Construction Plumbing)

Pay: $20.00–$28.00 per hour (Based on Experience)

What You'll Do
- Operate mini excavators and skid loaders on residential and commercial construction sites.
- Excavate plumbing trenches while maintaining proper depth, alignment, and jobsite safety.
- Load and move pipe, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Assist with underground water and sewer installations.
- Read and work from construction plans and layout information.
- Work safely around existing underground utilities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Assist with general labor when equipment operation is not required (approximately 20% of the role).
- Work closely with plumbing crews to keep projects moving efficiently and on schedule.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years of equipment operating experience.
- Experience in new construction plumbing, underground utilities, or civil construction is preferred.
- Valid Oklahoma Class D driver's license required.
- CDL is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Production-minded while never compromising safety.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Typically 40–50 hours per week
- Schedule varies based on project demands
