Gardens of Arcadia is a family-owned rose farm specializing in premium English garden roses and handcrafted bouquets. We are passionate about growing exceptional flowers and creating meaningful experiences for our customers. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to help expand our customer base and build lasting relationships throughout Central Indiana.
Position Overview
This is a relationship-focused sales role for someone who enjoys meeting people, building partnerships, and helping grow a local business.
You will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, growing existing accounts, promoting our products and services, and helping increase sales across multiple areas of the business.
Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities throughout Central Indiana.
Build and maintain relationships with florists, flower shops, wedding and event professionals, local businesses, corporate clients, and individual customers.
Promote our premium garden roses, bouquet subscriptions, seasonal bouquets, and other farm offerings.
Conduct sales calls, emails, in-person visits, and networking to generate new business.
Follow up with existing customers to encourage repeat orders and long-term partnerships.
Represent Gardens of Arcadia at farmers markets, community events, networking events, and other promotional opportunities.
Prepare quotes and assist customers throughout the ordering process.
Coordinate with the farm team to ensure excellent customer service and timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Share customer feedback and market insights to help improve our products and sales strategy.
Meet individual sales goals while contributing to the overall growth of the company.
Qualifications
Previous experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer service preferred.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Experience in the floral, agriculture, horticulture, retail, or event industry is a plus but not required.
