Full-time employee would be expected to work between our Jefferson Hills and Wexford locations. Part-time employee will work primarily from our Jefferson Hill's office.
Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs X-Ray procedures ordered by the physician
- Perform X-rays, and views to make adjustments if necessary and end final digital images to the PACS system
- Imports outside CDs into EXA
- Calls patient for CD pickup
- Locates X-ray for next day surgeries and prints images on paper
- Flag X-Rays on patients charts to give CD’S back to them
- Order X-Ray supplies for the office
- Assist clinical staff when needed by escorting patients to rooms, bandages, stitches,sterilizing equipment, prepping charts.
- Keep track of non-imported CD’S in a filing system
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- ARRT Certification (Required)
Skills
- Extensive knowledge X-ray technology.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Ability to operate complex imaging equipment
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure situations typical of emergency medicine environments.
- Familiarity with diagnostic radiology standards and safety regulations to ensure compliance during all imaging procedures.
