Statement of Qualifications (SOQ):
The SOQ is a narrative writing that individually answers each of the questions below. The responses must not exceed three pages in length, single spaced, using 12-point Arial font with your name and JC number in the upper left-hand corner. Re-state each question preceding your response. The SOQ serves as documentation of each candidate’s ability to present information clearly and concisely. Resumes, letters, cover letters, and/or other documents will not take the place of an SOQ. Applications received without the SOQ or failure to follow the SOQ directions will not be considered for this position and will result in disqualification.
- Describe your experience that demonstrates your ability to communicate, your project management skills, and your collaboration abilities.
- Describe what an effective team environment should look like. In your response, provide an example of a time you contributed to a team environment in achieving team or organizational goals, including what your role was within the team, the specific contributions you made, and the outcome that was achieved.
- Describe a time when you had to create and explain a process, procedure, or set of instructions to someone who was unfamiliar with it. In your response, describe how you ensured clear communication and accuracy of the information you provided.

SROA and Surplus candidates are given priority; therefore, individuals with other eligibility may be considered in the event no SROA or Surplus candidates apply.
