Responsibilities
· Responsible for verifying materials upon receiving, engaging the Quality department as necessary
· Receive in SAP, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies. Ensure deliveries are accurate and entered correctly into the system for precise inventory control.
· Ensures the correct documentation and placement of received materials
· Maintaining a high standard of organization and cleanness.
· Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits
· Track and report inventory discrepancies
· Update inventory records in the system to reflect transactions (receipts, transfers, usage)
· Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized
· Fill internal customer orders by retrieving material from the warehouse and other locations
· Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
· Label, organize, and store inventory in designated locations
· Assist with shipping and receiving processes as needed
· Answer internal customers professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service
· Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
· Previous inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred
· SAP warehouse and receiving experience a must
· Forklift experience (sit-down)
· Computer skills (inventory systems, Excel, ERP systems)
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
· Good communication and organizational skills
· High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
· Standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
· Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Warehouse or production floor setting
Exposure to varying temperatures and industrial equipment
Preferred Skills (Optional)
· Experience with barcode scanners or RF devices
· Familiarity with inventory management systems (SAP)
· Forklift certification (if applicable)
