Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license (New York State or compact eligible)
- Minimum of two years of recent hospital-based Interventional Radiology RN experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong IV insertion, critical thinking, and patient assessment skills
- Experience with moderate sedation and IR-specific protocols
Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with radiologists and the IR team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Monitor, assess, and manage patients before, during, and after IR procedures
- Administer medications and moderate sedation as required
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and infection control standards
- Serve as a resource to patients and families by providing education and emotional support
