As a Loan Officer you will:
- Work within a local and philanthropic community bank whose multi-decade legacy has amassed more than $400M in assets to date
- Manage and grow a diverse lending portfolio, originating consumer, residential, agricultural, and commercial loans while contributing to the bank's overall growth
- Make lending decisions that have a direct impact on your community, helping customers achieve their financial goals while supporting local economic development
- Develop long-term client relationships, becoming the go-to resource for lending solutions and creating opportunities for repeat business and referrals
Requirements of this Loan Officer role:
- Be an established community banker with the ability to build relationships and assess credit
- 3+ years’ closing consumer and commercial loans and growing a customer base
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced, changing environment and maintain a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
