Job Summary
Location: Valley Stream, NY | Part-Time with Opportunity to Grow into Full-Time
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and patient-focused MRI & X-Ray Technician to join our team at our Valley Stream location. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role as the practice grows.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI and X-ray examinations safely and accurately
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process
- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality
- Follow all radiation safety and MRI safety protocols
- Maintain accurate patient and examination records
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional imaging environment
- Follow all applicable regulatory and safety standard
Qualifications
- ARRT certification/registration or appropriate credentials for the modalities performed
- MRI and X-ray experience preferred
- New York State certification/licensure as applicable
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
