Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Jobsite Foreman to lead our construction projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction management processes. This role requires effective communication with team members, subcontractors, and clients while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Help to manage job site materials. Understand window and door schedule, prepare installation materials.
- Manage project scheduling and resource allocation to meet deadlines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Supervise and mentor construction staff, providing guidance on best practices in construction techniques.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate and handle all job site inspections.
- Assist in budgeting and estimating project costs while monitoring expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage tools in all tool trailers.
- Work with cabinet designer and shop manager on cabinetry layout.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising teams.
- Solid understanding of project scheduling principles and techniques.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices in the construction industry.
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and quality control measures.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to use general construction tools and carry heavy items.
