Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion Care Giver to provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in need of companionship and daily living assistance. Responsibilities
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in conversation, recreational activities, and socialization to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Support medication management by reminding clients of medication schedules and assisting with proper administration when authorized.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces.
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and activities in compliance with HIPAA regulations and agency protocols.
Requirements
- Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a caring attitude; ability to work independently while following detailed care plans.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.
