Job description:
Terminal Ready Mix is seeking a store sales associate for its Sandusky store. The position entails sales and marketing of a wide variety of building materials. The basic function of this position is working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned.
1. Responsible for waiting on customers and following sales orders through to completion.
2. Conduct all in-person, telephone-based, and email interactions with customer base.
3. Demonstrate a high level of product and service knowledge.
4. Create a marketing plan to promote sales of different product lines.
5. Use different marketing strategies that incorporate social media, telephone, and internet contact.
6. Conduct cold calling of existing and potential customers.
7. Maintain a clean and organized showroom.
8. Manage inventory including receiving and stocking of merchandise.
9. Keep supervisor aware of product levels.
10. Complete all reports/paperwork required by company.
11. Monitor sales daily and report to management.
12. Assist in building materials and batch plant yard when necessary.
Physical Demands - Lifting and Carrying Material Weight - Up to 50 lbs. Frequency - Varies (Physical demands may vary according to assigned task)
Educational and Driving Requirements
Must be thoroughly familiar with building products and interested in continually learning. Must have a high school education and valid driver’s license.

· Retail Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
