Quality Control Technician/Analyst
Job Description:
Quality Control Analyst reports to the Quality Systems Manager, and is responsible for:
- Preparing samples for testing
-Testing samples
-Inspecting jobs while in-process and prior to shipping
-Knowledge of Production Processes
-Reporting status of products to Shipping for release to customers
-Product trending and evaluating "statistical charts"
-Initiating product status reports, such as QC Rejection Reports, and reports on products that are "out of statistical control"
-Investigating customer complaints
-Assisting in meeting ISO guidelines/requirements
-Assisting in Internal Quality Audits
-Need to be able to follow written instructions, be comfortable measuring and demonstrate math skills
-Any other quality activity as required
* Preferred candidate will have worked in a manufacturing environment, worked in a Quality Control Laboratory, and have familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
