Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
- Operate various welding equipment, including MIG and TIG welders, ensuring proper techniques for different materials.
- Fabricate metal parts by cutting, shaping, and assembling components using hand tools and power tools.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and improve processes.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in welding and metal fabrication within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
- Knowledge of different welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Certification in welding (such as AWS or equivalent) is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is essential.
