Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, with experience working on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Experience with dealership settings, ADAS systems, schematics interpretation, and auto estimating is a plus. Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various systems including powertrain, transmissions, electrical systems, and engines.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, wheel alignments, and suspension work.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, or replace faulty components.
- Conduct ADAS calibrations and wheel alignments to ensure vehicle safety and performance standards are met.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems.
- Repair or replace vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, electrical wiring, and other mechanical parts.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings clearly to customers regarding necessary repairs.
- Assist in diagnosing issues related to automotive electrical systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications for quality assurance.
Experience
- Service technician experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Hands-on experience with all vehicles is preferred.
- Knowledge of ADAS systems, schematics interpretation, auto estimating processes, and welding techniques is advantageous.
- Experience working with engine replacement and performing complex repairs such as transmission overhauls or powertrain diagnostics.
- Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, power tools, hand tools, and general maintenance procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to provide professional support to clients.
- Prior experience in auto repair shops or service centers demonstrating mechanic expertise across various vehicle systems is highly desirable. Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
