Pay: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour (Plus tips) , based on experience

About Us
Em & Mẹ Café is a family owned Vietnamese all day café serving authentic Vietnamese coffee, tea, breakfast, bánh mì, fresh salads, and small bites. Our signature Robusta coffee is grown in Vietnam and roasted fresh weekly here in Nashville. We currently serve beer, with wine and liquor coming soon.
We're more than a café. We're a place where people gather to discover Vietnamese culture through food, drinks, music, and community. We host weekly Trivia Night, Live Jazz, Singer Songwriter Nights, Book Club, and other community events. Through genuine hospitality, we strive to create a welcoming space where every guest feels at home.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest and make them feel at home.
- Prepare coffee, tea, beer, wine, and cocktails with consistency and care.
- Make house syrups, batch drinks, and complete daily prep.
- Restock ingredients, cups, bar supplies, and café stations throughout the day.
- Deliver food from the kitchen and support the back of house team.
- Bus tables and maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café.
- Assist guests with ordering and using our POS system.
- Share our story and help guests discover Vietnamese coffee, food, drinks, and culture.
- Work together with your team to create an exceptional guest experience.

Experience in hospitality, restaurants, cafés, bartending, or customer service is a plus, but not required. We're happy to train the right person.
Schedule Requirements
- Weekend availability is required.
- Must be available for 6:00 AM opening shifts.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Must be available for 6:00 AM opening shifts.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must obtain a Tennessee ABC Server Permit after hire, as we serve alcoholic beverages.
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
