Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide essential daily living assistance to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care, particularly in geriatrics, PICU, hospital medicine, and medical-surgical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transportation to appointments
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
Skills:
- Experience in care, geriatrics, PICU, hospital medicine, and medical-surgical settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and patient demeanor when working with clients
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
