American Traveler is hiring a Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology procedures for a 13-week assignment in Davie, FL.

Located on the 2nd floor within the OR boundary of a hospital in Davie, FL

Cardiac Cath Lab with 1 procedure room
-
Team consists of 4 nurses and 1 Rad Tech, all on day shift
-
Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology (all areas except neuro)

Equipment includes GE imaging systems

EMR: Meditech
-
Rotating call required for IR only; the cath lab itself is diagnostic only

Shift hours are 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac cath and interventional radiology

Allied candidates must have active experience within the last 6 months in the role they are applying for

Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

License required if applicable

SSN and DOB required for consideration — Canadian SSNs are not accepted

Two professional references required (Florida state requirement)

Brand new facility, open less than one year, with growing cath volumes targeting Level II designation

OR scrubs are provided, as the lab is within the OR boundary

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but candidates must demonstrate recent, active experience in the specialty
