We are currently hiring a Textile Quality Control Associate to support our Textiles QC department. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role focused on evaluating raw materials and finished goods to ensure they meet our quality standards from the floor to final inspection.

What You'll Do:

Inspect incoming fabrics and raw materials for GSM, shrinkage, color consistency, weave defects, and other quality attributes prior to production

Conduct in-line and final audits across cutting, stitching, and pressing operations to ensure garments meet approved specifications

Perform physical testing procedures including colorfastness, pilling, and durability assessments and track results accurately

Identify, document, and report material, construction, and finishing defects

Quarantine non-conforming materials and support corrective action processes with internal teams

Enter inspection results, maintain defect logs, and generate reports for management

Support the QC team during floor checks, final inspection stations, and inventory-related reviews

Communicate clearly with team leads, production staff, and supervisors regarding quality issues

Complete relevant tasks and data entry in our ERP system accurately and on time

Follow all safety procedures and report hazards immediately
Requirements:

Prior experience in textile or garment quality control, fabric inspection, or a related production role preferred

Working knowledge of fabric construction, common garment defects, and acceptable quality limits (AQL)

Familiarity with textile testing protocols (e.g., shrinkage tolerances, colorfastness, appearance retention)

Comfortable in a labor-intensive environment with extended standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting

Basic computer literacy including data entry, Excel, and ERP system experience or willingness to learn

Strong attention to detail and ability to document findings accurately

Bilingual in Spanish and English is a strong plus

Exhibits initiative, grit, and a strong sense of teamwork

Flexible work schedule required including shifts, weekends, and holidays
Other qualities that are a plus:

Associate's or bachelor's degree in Textile Technology, Fashion Production, Quality Management, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or similar reporting tools

Knowledge of grading rules, measurement tolerances, and tech pack evaluation

Interest in building a long-term career in QC or production management
This is a full-time, on-site position. Starting rate is $17.87/hour and may vary with experience. Benefits include medical and dental, 401k, and overtime opportunities. Cover letter is not required.
