Livingston Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full-time, tenure-track, Teacher of Students with Disabilities (Resource/ICR) at Burnet Hill Elementary School for the 2026-2027 school year. All candidates must be properly certified at the time of application. Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with appropriate endorsement (e.g., Teacher of Students with Disabilities or equivalent)

Elementary certification (K–6 or K–5) required

Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS)

Familiarity with IEP development and implementation in accordance with NJ special education code (N.J.A.C. 6A:14)

Experience with differentiated instruction, multisensory teaching strategies, and evidence-based interventions (e.g., structured literacy, explicit instruction)

Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, CST members, related service providers, and families

Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Knowledge of assistive technology and accommodations/modifications

Experience with progress monitoring tools and data-driven instruction
