Job Summary

Duties
- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or ingredient organization when needed.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
- Help with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service and catering events.
- Follow food handling safety procedures and maintain compliance with health regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of dishes or supplies.
- Experience with bussing, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies will be advantageous.
- Previous hotel or culinary experience is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
