A Gymnastics Instructor is a lead or assistant teacher who follows our curriculum while using their own creativity to keep kids engaged and learning during our regularly scheduled classes.
What we expect from you…
- Teach amazing classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method (We’ll teach you how during your initial training program.)
- Create a warm, positive, and fun environment for the children each class.
- Start over with a 'blank slate,' for every child, every week
- This is fast pace environment that will keep you moving. Be ready to roll, climb, jump, and swing. Children learn through watching you! You don't have to be a top tier gymnast, but you do have to be comfortable moving through the gym.
- Comfortable lifting and spotting children up to 12 years old. (We will train you on proper technique!)
- Comfortable demonstrating basic gymnastics skills: handstand, cartwheel, mount and walk on a balance beam, front support and swings on uneven bars.
- Comfortable in a non-competitive and positive environment. Our goal is to help children gain self-confidence and self-esteem through gymnastics.
- Provide outstanding customer service and membership experience. We believe in a top notch customer experience and rely on our team to help provide that for our families.
- Create a warm, fun and educational environment for the children and families.
- Take pride in our facility by helping to clean and sanitize multiple times daily.
- Available in the evenings during the week and at least one weekend day.
You’d fit in here if…
- You love having fun, encouraging kids, and can work patiently with all types of children. (A background in child development, physical education, coaching and/or gymnastics helps as well)
- Making others feel good makes you feel good.
- Kids really like you, but their parents really like you too. You are comfortable getting to know families and talking with them.
- You are positive, creative and like to work with others. You are often in the gym with another teacher, so teamwork is important.
- You love to have fun, and you know that working with children is serious and meaningful work.
- Moving is more your speed. This is not a desk job!
