Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Training Program.
- Current ARRT license specific to Radiation Therapy - ARRT (T)
- Valid Radiation Therapist license from the Ohio Department of Health.
- 3-5 years of experience in radiation therapy with training in simulation and planning; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification required.
Hours and Compensation:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm (1 week on-call rotation every 3 weeks). No weekends or holidays.
- Salary range of $84K-107K based on experience. Comprehensive benefits package with a $15K sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiation therapist duties and assigned administrative tasks under the direction of the department director.
- Review, write, and update radiation policies and procedures.
- Educate staff on policies, procedures, and ODH requirements.
- Ensure compliance with ODH Administrative Code requirements and assist in meeting those requirements.
- Oversee completion and logging of equipment quality checks and maintenance.
- Lead radiation therapy Quality Assurance and Improvement meetings and develop QA/QI plans.
- Assist in coordinating patient care, training and orienting staff, and ensuring compliance with billing procedures.
- Stay current on radiation oncology billing procedures and assist with quality and safety requirements.
