Certified Medical Assistant
Duties:
- Provide patient care by assisting healthcare professionals in examinations and procedures
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Assist with patient education and counseling on medical conditions and treatments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
-MUST be willing to travel to our sister office 11 miles from the Main Office.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant
- Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Experience in medication administration and basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
