POSITION TITLE: Home Repair Construction Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Director of Construction
PURPOSE: The Home Repair Construction Coordinator provides clear communication, orientation, and ongoing support to approved home repair applicants throughout the pipeline while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service. As part of the Construction team, the Home Repair Construction Coordinator collaborates across departments and works with subcontractors.
This is a full-time position
Typical work schedule Monday thru Friday, with the occasional Saturday possibly needed.
DRUG SCREEN, BACKGROUND CHECK and MOTOR VEHICLE REPORT REQUIRED.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners throughout the Construction process via phone, email, mail, and in-person meetings.
- Provide timely updates to homeowners regarding status, construction scheduling, and next steps.
- Provide ongoing support and high-quality customer service to homeowners throughout all project phases.
- Maintain all homeowner information and detailed project paperwork in a confidential manner.
- Stay highly organized while managing multiple home repair projects, deadlines, and priorities at the same time.
- Track each repair project from the initial assessment through completion, making sure all required steps and documentation are completed.
- Keep accurate and organized project files, including homeowner agreements, scopes of work, permits, contracts, change orders, warranties, invoices, and closeout documents.
- Take and organize clear before, during, and after photos for each project.
- Keep track of project schedules, outstanding tasks, homeowner communication, contractor work, inspections, expenses, and invoices.
- Review contractor and vendor invoices for accuracy and confirm that the work has been completed before submitting them for payment.
- Make sure homeowner agreements, contracts, and other required documents are signed and filed before work begins.
- Complete project closeout by confirming the work is finished, collecting final signatures and warranties, and making sure all required paperwork is complete.
- Provide regular updates to the Construction team about project status, upcoming work, and any issues that need attention.
- Maintain tracking of construction expenditures for grant reporting and invoicing.
- Field site visits are required along with office work.
- Some permitting may be required when applicable to the projects.
- General home repair knowledge of painting, roofing, mechanical and electrical systems is a must.
- Collaborate cross-departmentally with Construction, Volunteer Services, other internal teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination of repair projects.
- Communicate project status and needs to internal stakeholders to support efficient project scheduling and execution.
- Serve as an active member of the Construction team, contributing to overall program goals and departmental initiatives, including large events and team builds.
- Represent the organization professionally in all interactions, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for applicants and partners.

Experience:
- Contractor foreman software experience preferred.
- Microsoft Suite experience is necessary.
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid license.
- Working conditions will vary between the air-conditioned office to working in the heat at job sites.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds

Position is located ON SITE in Lake Worth, FL. NO RELOCATION packages are being offered.
