Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and EXPERIENCED Marine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Outboard Engines, marine systems and equipment, with the ability to diagnose and repair various mechanical and electrical issues. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a passion for working with marine technology. The Marine Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of marine vessels.
Duties
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on marine engines, electrical systems, and other equipment.
- Rigging, Electronics installation
- Troubleshoot and Repair Mercury, Yamaha and Suzuki outboards
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, ensuring all wiring and connections are secure and functional.
- Perform Warranty work.
- Must have proper tools
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area
Skills
- Minimum of 2 year experience of marine/boat service experience.
- Ability to think logically, follow procedures, instructions and make sound decisions
- Strong understanding of electrical systems related to marine applications
- xperience working on Mercury, Yamaha and Suzuki outboards is a must.Knowledge of Rigging, Electronics installation a plus
- Ability to fabricate and repair metal components using hand tools.
- Must possess strong written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of maintaining various types of marine equipment and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
