PRIMARY FUNCTION
Maintain residential programs and enforce guidelines of the programs.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND REGULAR ACTIVITIES
- Ensure residents are getting needs met
- Enforcing guidelines of the program as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of residential home
- Encourage residents and be a positive role model for residents
- Provide crisis support for residents
- Other duties as assigned
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND/OR ABILITIES
- Knowledgeable about women and children’s issues, homelessness causes and prevention.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Reasonable computer and communication skills.
- An understanding of Trauma Informed Care
- Ability to receive and attend trainings for specific service populations
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or GED.
- Experience working in a social service field with single mothers or residential facility.
- Valid driver’s license
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Need to work evenings and some weekends
- Travel required
- There is access to confidential information that must be safeguarded
