Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Inspections and Diagnostics
o Conduct thorough vehicle condition assessments.
o Perform inspection and diagnostic testing of electrical systems, controls, and mechanical components.
o Identify worn or damaged parts requiring repair or replacement.
•Repairs and Maintenance
o Maintain and repair brakes, braking systems, engines, and all related chassis components.
o Correct vehicle issues by repairing, adjusting, assembling, and replacing parts.
o Perform upgrades by installing new components and parts as needed.
o Test vehicle performance through test drives and adjust controls, clutches, and other systems.
o Ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements.
•Safety and Documentation
o Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of PPE (safety goggles, gloves, boots, etc.).
o Maintain clean and safe workspaces and vehicles.
o Complete detailed work orders and documentation of repairs and maintenance.
o Report any incidents or safety concerns to management promptly.
•Teamwork and Training
o Collaborate with team members to improve fleet operations.
o Participate in cross-training and assist with other tasks as assigned.
Working Conditions
- Work outdoors in varying conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold.
- Occasional exposure to non-weather-related extreme cold, heat, humidity, fumes, or vibrations.
- Work near moving mechanical parts and in loud environments.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience in diesel mechanics or equivalent training.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Specialized training in heavy equipment, electrical diagnostics, brakes/wheel seals, and hydraulics.
Preferred:
- ASE Certification or equivalent credentials.
- Experience with specific brands or models of diesel equipment.
Skills:
- Dependable and punctual.
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
Wage Range: 18.00 - 24.00 per hour
