The position entails:
Assist Owner's day-to-day functions of Raleigh location:
- Assist in the digging of flagpole foundations.
- Mix and pour concrete for flagpole footings.
- Assist with the erection of flagpoles.
- Operate as ground man for owner while he is climbing flagpoles for service - with the goal of eventually being able to complete one-man service jobs solo.
- Travel with owner to various service and install locations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in person.
- Ability to utilize tools and equipment to meet work needs.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and customers.
- Ability to clean/stock/organize work van and manage daily tasks.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- One year of construction experience (preferred)
- Must be able to pass random drug screenings as required by our customers and attend safety classes for industrial site entrance requirements.
- Valid NC drivers license is REQUIRED with no DUI or serious infractions.
