Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair tasks. This position requires an understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and customer service skills to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including electrical and plumbing components.
- Utilize tools and troubleshooting issues.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems and implement solutions effectively.
- Assist in welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
Experience
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating leadership qualities when necessary.
