The Wingate by Wyndham St. Clairsville/Wheeling is seeking a dependable, hardworking Public Area Attendant to join our team. This position plays an important role in ensuring our hotel remains clean, well-stocked, and welcoming for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, and exterior entrances.
- Assist housekeeping by delivering linens, towels, and guest supplies.
- Remove trash and soiled linens from guest room floors.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and housekeeping needs.
- Set up and tear down meeting rooms as needed.
- Assist with light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and reporting maintenance issues.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel grounds.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure smooth hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the shift.
- Ability to stand, bend, push, pull, and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous hotel or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
