Our client is a well-established, self-performing real estate developer and general contractor with an impressive pipeline of residential and mixed-use projects throughout Brooklyn. With an integrated approach to development and construction, they oversee projects from acquisition through completion while maintaining exceptional quality, schedule, and budget performance.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team and lead multiple ground-up and major renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Manage all phases of construction projects, including preconstruction, budgeting, procurement, execution, and project closeout.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.

Coordinate with ownership, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and field operations throughout the project lifecycle.

Oversee contract administration, RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation.

Partner closely with Superintendents and self-perform field teams to coordinate daily construction activities and maintain productivity.

Monitor project costs, review subcontractor pay applications, and prepare owner billings and financial reports.

Identify project risks and proactively develop solutions to minimize schedule delays and cost impacts.

Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to internal leadership and external stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.

Support project turnover by coordinating inspections, punch lists, closeout documentation, and owner training.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.

5+ years of experience managing commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, or residential construction projects.

Experience working for a developer, general contractor, or design-build firm.

Previous experience managing self-perform construction operations is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project controls.

Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client relationships.

Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction management software.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Competitive base salary of $140,000 - $175,000
