Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions
- Serve food, beverages, and specialty drinks with professionalism, including coffee, cocktails, wine, and spirits for breakfast service
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems; manage cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Assist with food preparation or setup when needed, supporting kitchen staff in delivering quality dishes promptly
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred, especially fine dining or breakfast service roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy breakfast hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Experience with beverage service including coffee, cocktails, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation techniques
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and guest satisfaction
