At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis is:
Supervises Valley Regional Hospital (VRH) and Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center (MAHHC) and its subsidiaries' financial affairs, which includes coordinating the functions and activities of financial planning and corporate finance. Promotes a collaborative relationship with finance professionals, with operational management and leaders within VRH and MAHHC and provides coaching, advice and consultative support to ensure strong financial acumen, collaborative and trusting relationships across all organizational team members, and exceptional service excellence. Supports the creation of ongoing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans. Supervises financial analytical reporting, cost-based and other government/stakeholder reimbursement programs, regulatory reporting, chargemaster, and other decision support.
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field with five (5) years' financial planning & analysis experience required.
- Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA) preferred. Experience with a Health Care System, including Critical Access Hospital preferred.
- Experience with Webi, StrataJazz, Peoplesoft, Epic, highly desired
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and adapt to various reporting tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate and present complex financial data in a way that is understandable to customers. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
