We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager to join our team and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Lead and motivate the team to meet or exceed sales targets through effective training, coaching, and supervision.
- Oversee customer service interactions to ensure a positive experience and resolve any issues promptly.
- Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing prospective employees and conducting employee orientation sessions.
- Maintain inventory management to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage merchandising activities such as product placement, pricing strategies, stock replenishment, and visual displays.
- Supervise shift schedules, monitor performance, and implement operational improvements to maximize productivity.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management or assistant manager roles within the industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation.
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory control tools, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills.
- Knowledge of retail math for sales analysis, pricing strategies, and operational management.
- Experience with golf industry knowledge is preferred; familiarity with merchandising and stock management is essential.
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
