Part-time chiropractor position
Tuesdays and Thursdays 3pm-7pm
We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) chiropractor to join our team and serve the Norwalk community.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chiropractor to join our healthcare team, committed to improving patients’ quality of life through expert musculoskeletal care. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and detailed patient observations to determine the root causes of discomfort or injury
- Develop and implement tailored care plans focused on pain management, acute pain relief, and functional improvement using chiropractic techniques and therapies
- Perform manual adjustments, trigger point therapy, and other chiropractic interventions to restore proper alignment and mobility
- Monitor patient progress regularly through follow-up evaluations and modify treatment strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, especially in cases involving occupational health or complex medical conditions
- Educate patients on posture correction, injury prevention, physiotherapy exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health
- Maintain accurate documentation of all treatments, assessments, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards and healthcare regulations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques relevant to musculoskeletal health
- Proficiency in patient observation, assessment techniques, and physical examinations for accurate diagnosis
- Expertise in acute pain management strategies and trigger point therapy for effective relief
- Familiarity with occupational health principles to support workplace injury prevention and recovery programs
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment options clearly and empathetically to diverse patient populations
- Ability to develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate pain management techniques and physiotherapy exercises
- Knowledge of medical terminology essential for accurate documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration
