Dental assistant needed for a small, but growing dental practice in Akron, NY. You must be great with people, patient, punctual, and hard working. Wonderful opportunity to join a small office with a pleasant working environment. We are not an insurance driven practice like many large group practices that have become common in dentistry today. We have employed the same people, for many years, and do not have the pressures seen in many dental offices. The position is for Mondays 8am-6pm (1 hr lunch), Tuesdays 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch), Thursdays 11am-5pm, Fridays 8am-2pm, and one Saturday morning per month. This works out to 29 hours per week not including a Saturday. Experience in dental assisting is preferred. Pay is $23-25/hr based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Be able to assist the dentist in a variety of ways.
- Be able to manipulate instruments and equipment used by the dentist.
- Be able to help clean and maintain dental instruments.
- Be able to interact with patients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Be able to maintain the cleanliness of all office spaces and equipment.
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
