Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist experienced plumbers with installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems on construction sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools to cut, thread, assemble, and install pipes according to schematics and blueprints.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to support plumbing tasks.
- Support the setup of HVAC systems and perform basic maintenance tasks related to mechanical systems.
- Participate in site safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols.
- Help with remodeling projects by supporting carpentry, assembly, and handyman tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring job site safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for construction plumbing and willingness to learn new skills on the job.
- Basic understanding of construction site operations and safety practices.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical knowledge or previous experience with HVAC systems or plumbing is a plus.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams with guidance.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during assembly or remodeling tasks.
- Prior handyman or carpentry experience is advantageous but not required; a proactive attitude is essential for success in this apprenticeship.
