This is a part-time position in a reputable concept Montessori daycare/preschool operating within a residential property in a residential neighborhood. The hours for this position may vary, but there is a continuous need of at least 20-40 hours per week. Our school offers one of the best teacher-child ratio in the area, and our curriculum is highly nurturing both for the children in care and for the teachers. Candidate with talents in arts, crafts, theatre, singing, public speaking, acting, and sports will find themselves at home here.
The selected candidate will receive her work schedule weekly. Montessori experience or training is preferred but not required (We train). Early childhood experience/certification is preferred but not required. Opportunity to grow and learn the proper Montessori method. Job Duties:
The Teacher Assistant will assist and follow the guidance of the school director and lead teachers in a variety of activities ranging from facilitating children drop-off, pick-up, check-in, check-out, preparing and serving snacks for the children, changing diapers, supervising children and ensuring their safety, helping children with their work and activities. Cleaning and keeping the facility clean and presentable all the time is an essential responsibility of this position.
Required Qualifications:
- Caring, compassionate and loves children (We do not hire candidates who do not exhibit care, compassion, and love to children).
- Must clear background check (Live Scan)
- Up to date Immunization against childhood diseases (COVID-19 vaccination is not required but desirable).
- TB Clearance

- Age Groups: Infants (12 years or older), Toddler , Preschool

- Active, adaptable, quick to react, and energetic
