ROLE OVERVIEW
The Bakery Team Member is a multi-skilled team player who rotates between cashiering, barista, and deli duties — delivering the full La Segunda experience to every guest with energy, care, and pride.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform cashier, barista, and deli duties as needed throughout the shift
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide prompt, friendly service
- Prepare coffee drinks and food items according to standards
- Assemble orders for in-store guests and third-party delivery
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work area
- Monitor product quality and food safety compliance
- Support peers and assist management with operational needs
- Follow all company policies including uniform and attendance standards
WHAT YOU BRING
- Previous food service or retail experience preferred
- Energetic, customer-focused, and team-oriented
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Must pass a background check
COMPENSATION
Competitive hourly rate plus tips. Weekly pay on Wednesdays.
