Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality in every pour
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and foster repeat business
- Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders and transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Develop creative beverage recipes and suggest pairings to elevate the dining experience for guests
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and manage tabs with precision using POS systems
- Monitor inventory levels of spirits, beers, wines, and mixers; assist with stock replenishment and ordering as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure seamless service during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments with a strong knowledge of mixology techniques
- Demonstrated expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, and spirits knowledge
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Prior food service experience including serving, cash handling, food safety practices, and basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Experience working in hospitality industry settings such as restaurants or banquet facilities with a focus on customer service excellence
- Knowledge of wine varieties, craft beer styles, brewing processes, and beverage presentation standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills in fast-paced settings
