Lead pharmacy operations as the Director of Pharmacy in a hospital setting with a daily census of approximately 30 beds. This contract position offers a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including on-call duties on Wednesdays, over a 13-week period. The role requires strong leadership skills with a focus on operational management and staff coordination, alongside participating in relevant meetings to ensure smooth pharmacy functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmacy operations and manage daily activities to support hospital inpatient services.
- Participate in meetings related to pharmacy operations and administration.
- Handle staffing requirements and ensure appropriate coverage.
- Manage sterile compounding processes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Utilize Meditech system for order entry and related pharmacy tasks (Meditech experience preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven pharmacy management experience in a hospital environment.
- Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy operations.
- Experience with sterile compounding procedures.
- Proficient or experienced with Meditech software (preferred).
- Current Indiana pharmacy license is required.
