Position Overview:
As the Lead Doorman/Ambassador, you’ll be a key member of our team, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and security. In addition to your direct service duties, you’ll act as a role model and point of escalation for staff and guests, upholding The Electra's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Supervise and support the team, ensuring consistency in service quality.
- Train, mentor, and guide team members to excel in their roles.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to ensure adherence to standards.
- Assist with scheduling and coverage to maintain smooth operations during peak times.
Guest and Resident Interaction
- Greet residents and guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression.
- Manage escalated concerns or special requests with poise and efficiency.
- Build relationships with residents to provide personalized service tailored to their needs.
Security and Safety
- Enforce security protocols and coordinate responses to incidents with management and local authorities.
- Conduct regular inspections of building entrances and common areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Act as the point of contact during emergencies, ensuring clear communication and swift resolution.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee visitor logs, deliveries, and special requests to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
- Coordinate with the Concierge and Front Desk teams for seamless service delivery.
- Assist with events, vendor coordination, and setup to enhance the resident experience.

Qualifications:
Experience
- 2-4 years in luxury hospitality, guest services, or concierge roles required.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a high-end residential or hospitality setting is preferred.
Skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service abilities with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in guest management software and operational tools (e.g., BuildingLink, Parkade).
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs (e.g., luggage or deliveries).
Other Requirements
- Availability for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
