Graphic Design Intern (Digital / Visual Storytelling Focus)

About the Internship
We’re looking for a Graphic Design Intern to help build a visually rich, narrative-driven creative universe. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants real experience in branding, digital design, and visual storytelling across social media and worldbuilding content.
This role is focused on graphic design and digital visual storytelling. While illustration or comic-style experience is a plus, the core work is centered on digital design using modern creative tools, not traditional hand-drawn comic production.
What You’ll Do
- Create digital illustrations, character visuals, and storytelling assets
- Design social media graphics for Instagram, TikTok, and promotional content
- Develop brand assets (posters, banners, web visuals, merch concepts)
- Translate written ideas and story concepts into visual designs
- Support creative direction for campaigns and content releases
- Adapt designs across multiple formats (web, social, print, merch)
What We’re Looking For
- Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design skills (required)
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Procreate
- Strong understanding of layout, composition, and visual storytelling
- Ability to work from creative direction and iterate quickly
- Interest in fantasy, mythology, anime-inspired aesthetics, or narrative branding
Nice to Have
- Illustration or comic-style work (bonus, not required)
- Experience designing for social media or brand campaigns
- Motion graphics or animation skills
- Experience with merch or print production design
