Manufacturing Team Lead - 2nd Shift
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:30-10:00 PM
About the Role
Peragon Enterprises is seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to guide daily production operations and support a high-performing team. This role works closely with the Production Manager to ensure our production goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently achieved.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work directly with team members on the production floor while helping drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Do
Lead & Support the Production Team
- Coordinate daily production activities and team assignments
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support
- Help hire, onboard, and develop team members
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Drive Production Performance
- Monitor production flow, uptime, and labor efficiency
- Ensure materials, tools, and staffing are ready for daily production
- Communicate daily production goals and expectations
- Help maintain smooth and efficient operations across departments
Maintain Quality Standards
- Ensure products meet established quality standards
- Support inspections and corrective actions when quality issues arise
- Track scrap trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Audit processes to maintain consistent product quality
Improve Processes & Efficiency
- Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify production bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Analyze production data and KPIs to drive better performance
Promote Safety
- Maintain a strong safety-first culture
- Investigate incidents and near misses
- Ensure safety procedures and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) are followed
- Proactively identify and reduce safety risks
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
- Experience in manufacturing operations (fabrication, finishing, or assembly preferred)
- Leadership or team lead experience in a production environment
- Familiarity with quality inspection methods and measurement tools
- Experience with standard work instructions and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and project management systems such as Asana
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
- Experience analyzing production KPIs and operational data
- Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety practices

Pay: $29.00 - $40.00 per hour
