Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent service that exceeds expectations
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling responsibly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
- Assist in food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
Requirements
- Prior experience as a Barista or in food service is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math for transactions and sales tracking
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation practices
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the food industry or café setting is advantageous but not mandatory
